This washer is only for use with the Black Berkey Elements and is used with the Black Berkey wingnut.


This washer is not interchangeable with the white Super Sterasyl Ceramic filter washer

Spare Parts

These were bought as spare parts for Berkey filters. Never can be certain that a washer will not deform or be completely lost. Do not want to be without my Berkey!

Delivered as promised.
Washed the filter from lime and put them on. Works like new.
I’m thinking to get new filters though.
I bought this more than 3 years ago. ‘Color testing’ water was (very) slightly pink.
