We offer free shipping on orders over $99 within the continental US lower 48 states.
Please note that all orders are sent via UPS ground, FedEx, or United States Postal Service within the contiguous US. Certain Berkey filtration and purification systems are not to be sold in California

We do not ship on weekends and holidays. Please note there might be delays in delivery time during holiday seasons and peak periods.
Title and risk of loss and damage pass to you upon our transfer of the products to the carrier. Shipping schedules are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays in shipments.
An undeliverable order is an order that was not successfully delivered for various reasons. If the carrier is unable to deliver the order for any reason (including an incorrect address), the carrier will return the package to our shipping warehouse. This package will then be sent back with an extra cost of shipping fee upon your request.
Fees are as follows:
- Return fee on all returns $12.50
- Reship is the original cost of shipping plus Return fee

Please call (888) 899-3903 for help with order cancellations or changes to an order. We cannot cancel or change orders by email notification. Order cancellations or changes are possible for orders that haven't entered the shipping process yet. Order cancellations or changes may not be possible after 24 hours of the order.
All sales are final.
Returns and exchanges will be accepted only for incorrect orders, or have damaged, missing, or defective items. This policy does not cover defects caused by misuse of the item or improper operation.
Every customer must inspect their order for accuracy and any damage to the order immediately upon receiving their delivery for every order.
If your order is missing an item(s) or is damaged upon receipt (such as a scratched or dented chamber), you may request a replacement at no cost within 10 business days from the product delivery date. We will send you a postage label to send any damaged item(s) back to us. You must contact us within 10 days to qualify for an opportunity to replace the item per the Limited Warranty.
If your order is incorrect or defective, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of the product to request a prepaid return label for replacement. Replacement items will be shipped only after we receive your items. For requests made after the 30 days have passed, you will be responsible for costs associated with returning the product.
Filters that have already been used are not eligible for a return/refund as they cannot be resold for health and safety reasons.
Undeliverable or Refused packages returned to us will incur a 20% handling fee, which will be deducted from the amount refunded. This package can be sent back upon your request with the shipping cost.
Refunds will only be considered if the return request is made within 10 business days of product delivery.
Refunds will only be considered for incorrect orders, or have damaged, missing, or defective items.
No exceptions will be made for refund requests submitted after 10 business days. The customer is responsible for return shipping fees, and there is a 20% restocking fee for the item(s).
Once there is a confirmed receipt of the item(s), The Berkey will refund 80% of your original purchase price. These fees will also apply to system exchanges as well. The items must be unused and returned in the original retail box/packaging.
Please note that you must have our approval before returning an item. Return shipments not having prior approval will not be accepted. It is recommended that you purchase insurance and tracking for any shipment returned for a refund or credit. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages.
This policy does not cover defects caused by misuse of the item or improper operation. If you determine the item to be damaged by the carrier service, please contact the carrier service and complete a damage report. We can file a claim for you only at the carrier’s request.
All Berkey products are warrantied by the Berkey manufacturer New Millennium Concepts, Ltd (“NMCL”). Systems (not including filters) have a 12-month warranty, and black filters are covered under a 2-year pro-rated warranty.
New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. warrants its product against defects in materials or workmanship during ordinary consumer use. This limited warranty does not cover product issues caused by any other reason for the time periods and conditions set forth below. For a period not to exceed twelve months from the original date of purchase of the product, New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will, solely at its discretion, replace a stainless steel system or component that it deems is not functioning properly during the stated warranty period.
New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. and The Berkey shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. It is the customer’s responsibility to prevent the system's misuse and replace parts when, due to the natural course of wear and tear, they must be replaced. To obtain warranty service, you must provide a dated receipt for the product.
If you contact New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. (“NMCL”) within 30 days of receipt of the product to request a Warranty Exchange for a product, a Return Label will be provided to you via email. NMCL must receive the original product before any replacement product is shipped to you.
If the request is made after the 30-day period has passed, you will be responsible for costs associated with returning the product to NMCL.
All returned products will be hand-inspected by our Returns Department. If the Returns Department determines the product does not qualify for the requested Return Exchange, the Return Exchange can be denied. This decision is made at NMCL’s discretion.
This warranty will not apply to units that have been used for purposes not intended, which have been altered so as, in the manufacturer's judgment, to adversely affect its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only and cannot be transferred.
The laws of Texas, USA, will govern any disputes regarding this warranty or claim made. This warranty, which is given expressly in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, constitutes the only warranty made by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.
This warranty applies only to products manufactured or exclusively distributed by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. and The Berkey.
The Black Berkey® Purification Elements and the Berkey Earth® DE Elements are covered under a two-year limited prorated warranty, calculated in six-month intervals.
The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters and all Berkey® accessories are covered under a six-month warranty.

: In many instances, products are perceived to be defective or not working properly due to improper installation rather than actually being “defective.” Using the troubleshooting guide or “tips” section found on our Customer Support Center
web page may help resolve the issue to enable you to continue using your Berkey® product and/or determine if the product is in fact qualified under the Warranty.
For example, some Black Berkey Elements is slightly chipped at the edge. This is not considered a damaged product as it does not affect the functionality and safety of use. It is entirely normal to see a medium made of coconut shell carbon get chipped during transportation.

The following actions will void your warranty coverage:
1. Attempting to use the Berkey Earth® DE Filter Elements or the Ceramic Super Sterasyl™ Filtration Elements in a pressurized manner. The Black Berkey® Purification Elements are the only Berkey® elements that require priming.
2. Allowing any of the Berkey® elements to freeze.
3. Using dehumidifier water with any of the Berkey® elements for daily use.
4. Breaking the Berkey® elements due to dropping an assembled system or carelessness.
5. Performing a red food coloring test with the Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters attached. The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters must be removed prior to performing a red food coloring test to stay in compliance with the six-month warranty on these filters.
6. Using the water from a water softening system. Note: this action may clog the Berkey® Elements or cause the stainless steel to pit or rust.
Blemished Berkey Systems
Blemished Berkey systems ARE NOT warranted against cosmetic defects. The Black Berkey Purification Elements are only covered under the manufacturer's standard 2-year pro-rated limited warranty. Blemished systems are sold as-is - no refunds or exchanges on blemished canisters.
The Berkey is committed to respecting your right to privacy, and we strive to ensure the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained. We collect personal information with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned and use your information only to provide you with the services needed to transact your purchases. It is confidential and never sold to outside vendors.
We utilize the e-mail address of customers for filter replacement reminders and send special product offers and discounts when approved by the customer by opting into our newsletter.
