For convenience, you can install an optional Water View Spigot, which allows you to see the water level in the lower chamber without lifting the lid.

Placement tip: Many families keep their Berkey close to the sink for easy refilling.

Flow Rate & Performance

Flow rate depends on the number of installed elements:

• 2 Elements: Up to 3.5 gallons per hour

• 4 Elements: Up to 7 gallons per hour

Flow rate is calculated with the upper chamber full and decreases as the water level drops.
