The Water View™ Spigot lets you monitor the water level in the lower chamber without removing the lid. Constructed from polished food-grade 304 stainless steel, it eliminates plastic contact at the spigot and features a smooth ceramic disc valve for reliable operation.

Big Berkey

It’s been a month already and we are happy with our purchase . Be sure and read through all directions prior to set up . Learning curve to priming technique . Will take two people. If you have the clear water spigot make sure the blue ball is buried at the bottom position prior to refill . We had water coming out the top before we realized we should have had it more empty than we did . Water tastes great - easy to fill if you have a nozzle on your sink and place Berkey near by . Would purchase again .

Not Like It Once Was

The gasket around the bottom of the Big Berkey smelled so toxic we put it in a box and sealed it up, as well as the black element filters. Toxic fumes that made the water smell and taste undrinkable. The stainless steel housing is fine but we had to go to another company for filters to fit it. Not thrilled with our purchase at all. Then we were informed that it would likely be difficult to impossible to get new filters once these wore out. We had a much larger Berkey many years ago and we never had toxic odors emanating from the filters nor the gasket on the bottom. The water tasted perfect many yrs ago. Made us think we must have received a knock off and not a real Berkey. Very disappointed.

Warranty

All Berkey products are warranted by the Berkey manufacturer, New Millennium Concepts, Ltd (“NMCL”). Systems (excluding filters) have a 12-month warranty, and black filters are covered under a 2-year prorated warranty.

The Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition Filter Elements have a 12-month warranty.

New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. warrants its product against defects in materials or workmanship during ordinary consumer use. This limited warranty does not cover product issues caused by any other reason for the time periods and conditions set forth below.

For a period not to exceed twelve months from the original date of purchase of the product, New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will, solely at its discretion, replace a stainless steel system or component that it deems is not functioning properly during the stated warranty period.
