Crown Berkey® Gravity-Fed Water Filter - 6 Gallons
The Crown Berkey® Water Filter is the largest stainless steel system in the Berkey® lineup. With a 6-gallon storage capacity, it is designed for larger households, offices, group settings, and shared spaces that need more drinking water throughout the day.
Made from highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel, the Crown Berkey® system features a durable countertop design with large upper and lower chambers. It comes standard with two Black Berkey® Elements and can be expanded to hold up to eight elements for increased flow rate.
The upper chamber nests inside the lower chamber for transport and storage, reducing the system height to approximately 20 inches.

About the Black Berkey® Elements
The Crown Berkey® system comes standard with two Black Berkey® Elements. These elements are designed for gravity-fed water filtration and have been tested by accredited third-party laboratories to reduce a broad range of common drinking-water concerns.
Black Berkey® Elements are re-cleanable during their service life and are designed not to remove typical beneficial minerals such as calcium and magnesium from drinking water.

Flow Rate and Expansion Options
The Crown Berkey® system is expandable, allowing you to increase the number of Black Berkey® Elements as your household or group's needs change.
- 2 elements: Up to 6.5 gallons per hour
- 4 elements: Increased flow rate for larger daily use
- 6 elements: Higher output for group settings
- 8 elements: Maximum configuration, up to 26 gallons per hour
Actual flow rate can vary depending on fill level, element condition, water quality, priming, and maintenance.
Optional PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements
Up to 8 PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements may be installed in the lower chamber if desired. These are optional add-on elements and are sold separately unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Assembly and Priming
Black Berkey® Elements should be properly primed before use. Priming helps prepare the elements for normal flow and performance. Please follow the manufacturer’s setup instructions included with your system.
If the system has been stored for an extended period, review the manufacturer’s instructions before putting it back into regular use.
Maintenance Notes
- Use the system with cold or room-temperature water only.
- Do not use with salt water or salt-based softened water, as this may shorten element life and affect warranty coverage.
- Clean the stainless steel chambers periodically with mild soap and water.
- Replace elements according to manufacturer guidance and total water usage.
- Keep track of installation dates and estimated gallons filtered.
