The Royal Berkey® Water Filter System is designed for households that use larger volumes of filtered water throughout the day. With a 3.25-gallon capacity, it offers greater storage and output than smaller Berkey® systems while maintaining the same dependable gravity-fed filtration performance.

How the Royal Berkey® Works
The Royal Berkey® uses gravity to draw water through Black Berkey® filtration elements. Simply fill the upper chamber, allow gravity to do the work, and dispense filtered water from the lower chamber.
Black Berkey® Elements
Each Royal Berkey® system includes 2 Black Berkey® Elements and can be expanded to accommodate up to 4 elements.
Black Berkey® Elements are designed to reduce a broad range of potential contaminants commonly found in drinking water supplies, including:
- Lead and mercury
- Chlorine and chloramines
- VOCs
- Trihalomethanes (THMs)
- Pharmaceutical residues
- Petroleum-related compounds
- Rust, sediment, and particulates
- Radiological contaminants
The elements are also designed to retain beneficial minerals such as calcium and magnesium.
Each Black Berkey® Element is rated for approximately 3,000 gallons of filtration. With two elements installed, the system can filter approximately 6,000 gallons before replacement is recommended.
Optional PF-2™ Fluoride & Arsenic Reduction Filters may be added to the lower chamber. The Royal Berkey® can accommodate up to 4 PF-2™ filters.

The Royal Berkey® is constructed from highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel and is designed for years of everyday use.
No electricity, plumbing, or complicated installation is required. Simply fill the upper chamber and allow gravity to filter the water.
The stainless steel chambers are assembled in the USA from US and imported parts. Black Berkey® Elements are also made and assembled in the USA.
